Hi there! My name is Dave Yi. I'm a videographer, filmmaker, editor, animator, and photographer living in Los Angeles.

I was born in Germany, moved to France as a wee toddler, immigrated to Kansas when I was a slightly bigger toddler, moved to Boston as a young child, and then finally to Vermont as a pre-pubescent teen before graduating from high school and attending Hamilton College where I majored in Creative Writing and minored in Economics. Needless to say, I've moved around a ton in my life, and I've always anchored myself with cartoons, TV shows, and movies to keep me grounded as a tool for comfort.

Now that I'm an adult, my original childhood dream of becoming a cartoonist and my love for entertainment has blossomed into a love of storytelling, animating, and filmmaking. I moved to Los Angeles in 2024 with hopes of entering the entertainment industry and meeting other like-minded creatives.

I love creating and shooting content that is visually interesting, tells a compelling story, and hopefully lighthearted while still carrying a meaningful message. I'm always looking to shoot projects with people who are passionate about creating cool stuff - please feel free to reach out for any opportunities to collaborate or connect!
